Help with Bots/FF MM
Here is a basic build you can use as an example of how to slot Robots/Force Field.
You can swap any pool powers you want, but the primary and secondary set powers are slotted well.
(Edit: The slot placement levels may be off though. The important thing is to slot the proper enhancements and the proper amount of slots into a power.)

Battle Drones: 3 damage, 2 to 3 accuracy.
Protector Bots: 2 defense, 1 endurance, 1 heal, 1 accuracy, 1 damage.
Assault Bot: 3 damage, 1 to 3 accuracy.
I've never seen an Assault Bot or Battle Drone run out of endurance even in an extended GM fight, and without endurance reduction, a Protector Bot takes about four minutes to run down -- right about the time it's starting to apply the second round of bubbles.
In general, you've got things slotted far too heavily for endurance reduction, and not well enough for their primary purposes. With the latest changes to FF, a Bots/Bubbles with no personal attacks can run all their toggles unslotted and still have endurance to spare.
Okay, done the respect more-or-less as you said. I grabbed the Blood Mandate set from the store and slotted it into the drones. I ended up taking Katie's advice for the Protector Bot and Assault Bot. Instead of stealth power pool, I went with medicine, just to have a way of getting my bots back on their feet if they get hammered.
They do seem to be doing a lot better now, especially now that I've gotten rid of all of the red enhancements and bought new ones.
Once you're ready for something a little more advanced, then have a look at this one (my current build I still see no reason to change!)...

That's...really not an effective slotting for the bots. You're giving up far too much damage, and neither you nor the bots are gaining anything from endurance reduction.
|
I actually made it that way to ensure they would never have endurance issues because they don't do any damage with no endurance.
I also made it with my Demon Summoning build on my mind a bit, and they need endurance reduction from my experience.
(Edit: I also made the build specifically to allow enough endurance recovery for the mastermind to attack with at least the two later AoEs. My Demons/Force Field build uses even more attacks, so endurance is at a premium.)
Anyway as I said, it's just a very basic slotting that will give the original poster an idea of what they need to slot for.
Okay, so, I'm slowly getting back into the swing of things. However, making new toons makes me realize just how crappy my old primary is. Part of this is the fact that most of the enhancements he has are too low level now (I've gained a few levels, but I'm not sure what's actually good as far as enhancements go) or empty (I was never sure what was good for these powers).
I've got respecs to spare, but I need some guidance on what isn't going to be terrible.
I'm gonna go ahead and post what I have. Try... try not to laugh too hard.

Obviously, there are some issues with this build. I recognize a lot of them. I could definitely do better, but I'd rather get some advice from you guys to make sure I don't make new mistakes.
Thanks, all.
EDIT: I should mention I play PvE almost exclusively. Never got much into PvP.
EDIT 2: And I'm level 39. Just need to do the final training. It occurs to me that that's important information.
