Critique a DP/Traps Build
I am also leveling up a DB/Traps, so I thought I'd share my build and give a little critique on build and share what I am building for.
Empty Clips - Fast recharging AOE attacks with -Def LOVE the Achilles' Heel proc.
Acid Morter - See above. The more -Res, the better.
FFG - Overslotted with LotG. The only reason to use more then four is if you are building for high Psi resist.
Tough - No Steadfast +3% def all?
Weave - You would be more bang for you buck by sticking 3 LotGs in there, including the 7.5% recharge.
Stealth - Again, LotG is your friend. Also, with no other stealth in your build, you are short of full invis. Consider either dropping Stealth or adding either Superspeed or a +Stealth proc. Or both.
Triage - The Numina would be much better in Health. The regen aura it generates does not benefit from the Proc.
Scorpion Shield - See Weave.
Stamina - Trade one of the EndMod/XXX enhancements for the Proc. It will give you more End overall.
You may also want to consider trading Hover/Fly for CJ/SJ. I have had problems in the past when I have tried to trap while hovering. That is just personal preference.

Most of my experience is with traps, so if I erred on reslotting any of the dp powers, take that into consideration. I tried to leave as much of the feel of the build as possible, while improving the effectiveness of your traps. You will notice the numbers are pretty high on sm/l and e. However, a single small purple will softcap you to all types and positions.
TomG is correct, hovertrapping is a pita. Of course, if you are used to it, and like it, concept trumps all.

Alright well I've just started playing again, I originally quit around when CoV was released, so alot has changed, especially IOs and slotting. One of the characters I want to build is DP/Traps corruptor and this is the build I've put together. It is capped for s/l/e, and has near perma hasten (I can deal with 20 seconds of downtime). Now I know I used a few purples, but I have a few characters who are great farmers, so I can always spend a few weeks farming if needed, and I'm at the s/l/e def cap even without them.
I could use some suggestions on the powers/slotting since I've never used either set before, any advice is appreciated.
