AE or regular missions? I ask, because if you can design your enemies, that'll change how you try to improve your survivability, and each have their perks.

I made a spines/fire scrapper a while back(don't let the newness on this account fool you, I've been around since release), and the main problem I had was the fear generated by all those burning spines. Mobs will surround you at first, but they'll quickly realize that being near you hurts very bad. Without an inherent taunt aura like you'd have in a brute or tank, those mobs will run around the corner, down the block, stop at the Circle K and pick up a slurpy to cool down, then slowly walk back to where you're at.
Yeah, it's kinda like that.
I don't know if picking up Provoke would help any with the mobs running away or not, but if it does then that might make spines/fire a little more playable. My advice if you want a scrapper that can farm well is to look into an electric/shield or fire/shield.
I have a Spines/Fire Scrapper and a SS/Fire Brute.
The SS/Fire Brute is by FAR the better farmer. By a massive mile. I would seriously advise agaisnt using a Spines/Fire Scrappper. The fear element hurts a huge amount, aswell as the smaller Fire Res cap.

Alright im looking into making a Spines/Fire scrapper...obviously the point of this build is to be a farmer and get some money flow in. Ive googled and seen waay waaay too many varietys to determine if im looking at crap or if im looking at something good. Obviously id like to be able to do a +4x8 map but i dont know much about farming so w/e you can toss in, info, tips, hell even builds of a spine/fire id love to see it.
