That said, I've had to log out and back in to get my points and reward tokens updated after purchasing them. I've never had to log out to get an item I bought in the store to apply.

When I've tried IO licence on Beta - it was instant. Haven't even needed to log out.

For reasons that escape me my bank decided that I couldn't afford to pay my sub today even though I have enough funds (just) to cover it. Money goes in tomorrow so with a bit of luck I will be back to VIP status pretty darned quickly.
However because I'm all alone this week consequently having no real reason to get on with things that need doing like eating or sleeping. I was planning on playing today. When I went to log in I was told I had been dropped to premium. Fair enough. After checking my bank details and finding the above I decided I would buy an Inventions License...
Bought it and the Alpha shoulders. However my IOs are still greyed out (some 16 hours after purchase), nor can I use the shoulders. I went back into the store and checked that I did in fact buy them both, and while I don't know for sure, I can't buy them again. Which implies they were bought 1st time round. Also my point total went down.
So does anyone know how long IO License takes to activate? Or indeed if it even works?
What are the odds of being able to get a points refund for the non-working license?
Luckily I have two accounts one paid till Oct 3rd... shame it took me 16 hours to realise it.
