Traps/Beams questions

I'm really enjoying my Traps/Beam Defender. So much so that last night I switched to my main to buy a raft of Procs for her (a few Devestations, a pair of Achilles Heels, a Lockdown, some Damage procs for Trops and a Steadfast).

I've a few questions though :

In Traps :
Is it worth proccing Seeker Drones? I'm thinking of one of the Devestation : Chance for Holds as it'd mean 2 15 foot patches where the chance can occur, when the Seekers explode. Not sure on Damage Procs due to their recharge
Same question for Poison Trap, again I'm aiming to have a Lockdown in there, but are any of the other Chance for Damage Procs worthwhile any more? I assume here each proc has a chance to affect everyone in the PG every 10 seconds
Obviously I'm proccing out Acid Mortar with an Achilles, a Devestation and a Shield Breaker or something. What other procs do people use in Traps other than the ones I've mentioned.

In Beam Rifle :
Is it worth trying to Buzzsaw out the Tier one blast? It's fairly quick to animate. I'll be putting a Dev in there anyway.
I'm putting an Achilles into Cutting Beam as well, is there any other powers in Beam which can take sneaky procs which are worthwhile?
Is the chance for Disintegration Spread standard across all single target powers?
With Disintegration Spread what actually happens here? It seems to spawn a PBAOE around the enemy which affects those close by with DoT and their own Disintegration effect. Is that DoT affected by damage enhancements from the power that caused it? If so can PROCs also "spread" from the causing power (ie if I hit an enemy with my Tier 1 which has the Devestation will those whom the Spread effects also have a chance to be held?)

Where's the best place for a Steadfast? Is my only option my APP/PPP shield?

I haven't made a serious attempt a Beam Rifle yet, so I don't really know.

Seeker Drones: I tend to use this one of two ways.
1) Throw it out ahead of me to soak up an alpha strike and then I'm right behind it.
2) Use it to pull a group into my acid mortar/poison gas/trip mines.

I think any kind of hold effect hold would hinder the second use.

Caltrops: I use a Ragnarok proc here. I find that the knockdown really helps against a big group.

Triage Beacon: I have heard that the Panacea proc will actually give the benefit to anyone standing around the beacon. I've not tried it myself.

Acid Mortar: I use and do suggest the Achilles' Heel and the Devastation procs.

Poison Trap: I think the Lockdown does help here. I have a couple damage procs as well. I think that's a matter of preference. My thought is that is if have the slots, why not get a little more damage out of it?

In regards to Poison Trap, I have 2 or 3 different damage procs in it via the Hold line (I'd have to doublecheck) and as of i20, I can confirm that they do indeed trigger separately, and sometimes at the same time (sometimes even hitting the same mob).

This applies to most other AoE powers too, such as Caltrops, World of Confusion, etc. I've never tried the Panacea in Triage Beacon. I've been thinking of rolling a new /Traps/ character... hmm...

Great, thanks for all the info folks.

Still wondering if procs can interact with Disintegrate spread, if the Spreads damage is enhanced by the power triggering it, if its affect by Ranged Damage ios specifically .

Regarding the chance for Disintegration Spread, it increases as you move up the powers. Can't remember the exact numbers but I think it was something like 10/20/50/100% for Single/Charged/Lancer/Penetrating respectively.

Edit: just found some patch notes on it while answering another thread. It's 20/39/52/100.

Hmmm. So in order to test my PROC spread theory I might be better off sticking the proc into Lancer or Charged shot instead to see if it has a chance of activating on Spread targets.
