Not a surprising ending. I thought the story must have been written by a Dev >.> <.<

Bad Voodoo by @Beyond Reach. Arc ID #373659. Level 20-24. Mr. Bocor has fallen victim to a group of hooded vigilantes who have been plaguing Port Oakes, interfering with illegal operations and pacifying villain's powers. He demands that revenge is taken on these miscreants and his powers are returned! You look like just the villain for the job. Challenging.

The problem with the way that the meteor event was implemented is that it's already in the past by the time you reach level 10. Probably before that, really, but certainly by that time. We never actually "take up the cause", and the attack never ends from the perspective of the greater game timeline.

This should have been a major event in the history of the city that involved every hero in the game.

By the time you reach your teens, the invasion is repelled, the shivans are destroyed, the meteors are mostly removed, and parts of Galaxy City have even been rebuilt.

MMO time is a weird thing. The Shivans are going to be stuck in the tutorial forever, just like Salamanca is stuck forever.

There's got to be a better way to tell this kind of story in the game, and have it involve everyone, not just a quickie intro to the game that vanishes as soon as you're old enough to leave Atlas Park.

As for Detective Ghady, I'd like to think that the story we have so far is not the end of his story. I guess we'll see.

it's a problem with time and fiction. Stan Lee said it best, describing how Peter Parker never stopped being a teenager or the Fantastic Four getting old and wrinkly. He simply said "Marvel time doesn't work the same as normal time" and I guess MMO time works on the same principle.

There's nothing to say that we won't find ourselves battling the Shivans in the battle of our life sooner than you think!
