Also try to give people the benefit of the doubt and, more importantly, don't assume anything. Post and ask. Don't assume the developers would be so dumb and mean to remove those aspects (without some way of still achieving the same things). I know it can be hard, when you encounter a lot of dimwits out and about, but it really pays to give people the benefit of the doubt (when the end result shouldn't result in daggers in the back or some sort of severe pain).
