So I gotta change my password?

For the forums, my 2 accounts cant login. Do I have change them both now? Not something thats gonna be fixed I guess?

And why does changing passwords seem like so much trouble?

I did. Contacting Support might also work, but they might tell you to change it.

If you're using a password that's acceptable by the current rules, you can just change it to itself (if it's too short/doesn't meet the requirements, it'll obviously have to be something different that does meet the rules...). Seems like just changing it is the easiest and fastest solution.

I had the same problem as the OP. All I did was log onto my master account and change the password to the same one I've been using all along and I was able to log back on the forums again. It's a PITA bug.

Were it not for this thread... I'd have still been locked out of the forums! I was quite stumped as to what the issue was.

Just be careful, a bunch of EU players have found themselves locked out of the *game* after changing their passwords (though it did let them log back into the forums).
