Glitches in character creation screen

When I go to start a new character the text for things like "Mutant" etc have letters missing. Moving the cursor over the bugged letters makes them appear properly but moving the cursor back away I get the same missing letters.

What sort of problem would this be?

(i realise this is not the most serious of problems but it might be indicative of others.)

Is this the sort of missing letters you're getting?

I received this error on the beta server a few weeks back when I was running Fraps as I was zoning into the tutorial. I think I've only ever encountered that specific error when Fraps was running, though...

If that's not what it looks like, what video card do you have? Posting a screenshot of it might also help (you can use the print screen key on that screen, and then past the image into MS Paint, then upload that to a site like imageshack.us).

And I am running windows 7.

No, that's not the problem. It happens when moving the cursor over buttons in character creation.

ty for the reply.

Two further data points requested:

No, that isn't the current driver. And I am reluctant to suggest upgrading to the current driver since the current drivers do not play nice with CoH - especially on a 64 bit Windows system....

IF you (Dark Inferno) are wanting to change drivers, I'd recommend these right here.

If you are a bit more adventurous, you could try the newest drivers.

In the end, it ends up being a crap shot either way. And may result in you having to unload and reload different versions of drivers to find your "sweet spot."
