Its amazing that Devices users have been so beaten down over the years that they don't even bother testing it when its on test. I know I didn't, because I am sure my pessimism already knows the answer. Probably not.

I tried to copy my archery/dev blaster several times, but i gues the copy tool been down since issue 21 Beta started.

And i had my priority on stone/MA tank, that jump kick looks just hilarious with a pile of rocks.

Yeah, it's only like 92% of the damage Aim offers (at least if you start counting post cast), but when you consider the incessant whining about a lack of BU it's really a surprise people don't count the Defiance numbers.

Timb Bomb is 52.8% for 16.5 seconds. Trip mine is 26.4% for 12.5.

If you play smart, run ahead on teams, etc, you can turn those puppies into a good chunk of burst damage without much detractor. Yes, Aim + BU are easier, simpler, etc, but as it were Blaster's require about the most finesse and forethought of any AT anyway.
On one hand they made it not interruptable.

On the other hand, they drastically reduced its defiance damage bonus.

Was 39.6 for 14.5 seconds

NOW 6.6 for 5 seconds

You get more defiance from throwing down caltrops. (7.1)

This is a tier 9 power? and I get 6.6 bonus from it?

Does anyone know what the defiance bonus you get from sparky? How does this compare?
(EDIT: Its 20.5 for 10.6 seconds, over 3 times better than Gun Drone)

FF would be a tid too powerful for a support set of blaster (no other set gives such huge buff party/league wide), drones is very viable.

But 6.6 for 5 sec? Whats the cast time now, since even sniper powers seem to give more then that.

Cast time is 1 sec with no interrupt (at least it was on beta last time I looked). Its really fast to summon the gun drone now. You lose a buff - but gain a combat castable power. At least for me, when I tried to summon it for a buff the other folks in my group tended to kill everything in front of me before I finished - unless I went way ahead and drew a ton of fire whenever I misjudged the timing. Even solo, it blew my usual 'stealth in, buff up, drop RoA tactic because it alerted the enemies to my presence. I find the 25% or so damage buff from trip mine to be more reasonably balanced with the casting time and use that as my 'mini' build up, so having the added damage without spending 7+ seconds locked in an animation is nice.

It looks like they basically removed the interrupt (6 seconds) and left the rest of the cast time alone.

You cannot cast the power while not on the ground ....

Why I have zero clue. I just really don't get it and must be beyond my simple mind to comprehend. Or their thought process just does not go that deep.

This screams leftover from the days when it was an immobile turret. I would bug it.

I know I am a pessimist but, I highly doubt sending in a bug report is going to do anything. I mean for freaks sakes it took them how long to make it non-interruptable with a shorter cast time and they didn't even bother to check to see if it was castable from hover/fly. They probably didn't want to waste their time on making an extra animation for hover. You know because I am so sure it would be really hard to make it use the animation for Robotics summon.

I thought I was going to be really excited about this issue, so far it has been a lot of disappointment. I gave a bunch of feedback on things, things that a lot of other people made similar to exact comments about in beta and its like they didn't bother to listen.

Well at this point its bugged in game, posted as a bugged on the i21 forums and posted in the Suggestion forums. Not much else I can do without the address of a developer and the hours they travel to and from work.

Thanks for taking the time to do that, I tend to be too much of a negative Nancy to ever bother bugging things. Figuring someone else already has and they just aren't listening. Probably stems from my years of working in telephone tech support where customer complaints go largely unheard.
