Rolling Stones top 100 greatest guitarists of all time. So sad. NO Steve Vai, NO Joe Satriani, and Kurt Cobain at 12 and Eddie Van Halen at 70!!?!?!?!?!

Clearly RS is staffed by monkeys. Teenage chimpanzees. Only explanation. Ok kids, now go ahead and tell me how awesome Cobain was cuz of his 1 (ONE) good unplugged show. What a joke.

List is from 2003 and I remember it getting ripped on back then as well.

Ohhhhh. Well thats a better thought. A friend shot me a note about it and I thought it was current. Ok, no need to fret about a crappy OLD list. In the words of Emily Litella...

Ah yes. That... list.

Number 82. Number 82?!?!

The best thing about that list is that they remembered a lot of classic blues artists. The worst thing about that list is everything else.

People care what Rolling Stone says?

A top 100 list you have to view one at a time? Looks like I'll never know who's passed 97.

Anyone see Buckethead or Les Claypool anywhere on the list? I declare automatic fail if they aren't at least top 30.

Thought it was a list of 100 great guitarists not a top 100. Also im infuriated that my favorite guitarist isnt in there
