Account wide badges

Moral of the story (according to the OP): Having badges is awesome. Getting badges sucks.

That's what the post boils down to for me, and I have to say I disagree. Once I have a badge, pretty much all it is for me is a memory cue to remind me how I got it. It's those experiences and groups that make getting badges interesting for me, not the having of them. If I had all my badges on every character, I'd have no opportunity to re-experience the getting of that badge in a different way, or improve on the amount of time and effort it took me prior.

I think you misunderstood a bit. I did not say that getting badges suck (although getting some of them can get a bit tedious and is not in my opinion as quite as exhilarating experience as some of the posters make it sound . I said getting the same badges twice or more suck.

Beyond that, theres not many that make sense to be account wide.
Well, I don't know that they =need= to be, but I'm another that would like them to be. On the other hand, my (admittedly ill-suited badger character) is really PROUD to have earned the third-level Healing badge with the frikkin tricorder. Not sure if I'll get any more, but that hasn't stopped me from trying.

They all laughed at me when I said I wanted to be a comedian.
But I showed them, and nobody's laughing at me now!
