I've had something happen to me on three separate occasions this past week. Three different toons, on 2 different accounts, on 2 different computers. Situation: Toon on a Task Force must travel to Skyway for mission. Toon enters train/or zone entrance, and the game locks up. I log and come back to find toon inaccessible for game play. Sent tickets to Tech support and they removed toon to "Safe" location but never really give me an idea why or if there is anything I can do to stop/fix this situation. This problem started right after "LONG" maintenance day.

Any ideas?

Usually this sort of problem indicates the zone in question has crashed and become a black hole for anyone trying to enter. For some reason, Sharkhead is particularly prone to this issue. I haven't seen this happen on Infinity in several years EXCEPT for Sharkhead.

Have you seen anyone on global channels complaining about it? If Skyway became a black hole, it would presumably affect more and more people as time passes.

Were you on Freedom? I have one character there and it got stuck in limbo 3 times this weekend. Each time, I hit the Train station and lost map server. After which, I'd time out trying to log the character back in, failing to loss of map server again. Once was on the way to the last mission of a TF :P . I had to send in petitions for a GM to move the character.

I didn't have any problems with other characters that I played on other servers over the weekend.

Teams are the number one killer of soloists.

Yeah, my lone 50 on Freedom is currently locked in Skyway limbo. I headed through the train after joining some pals to help with Synapse... Things went downhill from there. I've gone through skyway just fine other days so this is new for me.

So many stability patches, but the game seems to be falling apart instead.

Clearly, we need more lasers.
