Doesn't require you to run the story. You just need to hit level 24, then go train. You'll then be allowed to respec into the build you want.

Keep in mind that the level 24 respec is *mandatory*. You can't just train up your level 24 power and do the rest later; the game will require you to pick your powers from level 1 at that time, so best to have an idea of what you want your build to look like to that point.

I feel like a dweeb having to ask this, but what mission set is it that unlocks my ability to repsec at 20th level into Bane spider. I got to 20 via newspaper missions and now am stuck trying to catch up on these seemingly endless storyline missions just to get my backpack!
