VIP Server: Character name reservation

If anyone told me what they told you, I'd camp my favorite names and then camp their names as well just to spite them.
It would be great if they did something similar to when the game left Beta, and they took the top name from the test server and reserved it for you. They could even reserve the name that is in the top slot of every server, so the "VIP's" could have several names reserved.
Will they do this? No. But it sure is fun to talk about :-)

I'm planning to "solve" this problem by not intending to move any of my existing characters to the new VIP server. Most of my important characters have been on the servers they are on for years now - I see no incredibly pressing need to transfer them. Many of those characters have long time seniority in various SGs for what that's worth.
I'll probably make some new characters on the VIP server, and when I get around to doing that I'll get whatever names are available at that point.
