Kaison Corp Grand Opening Party! (Public IC gathering)

You've seen this advertised so many times you're sick of it. What, between the billboards, the frequent TV and radio ads, the huge newspaper ads, the signs on buses and taxis, the two page spread magazine ads, the annoying pop up ads that really just overlay your current browser window, the random kids running through the streets with Kaison Corp t-shirts and baloons... hell, you even found an invitation on the Fifth Column goon you just busted up... you wouldn't be surprised to see anyone at this shindig. He's been advertising all across the Isles and even into Paragon City expecting to draw a crowd. Even if you've got no reason to care about this corporation, there's probably someone there worth meeting.


(( Hey everybody, I'm putting together as big of a public in character meet and greet as I can. This was inspired by Nalrok's last meet and greet at the Midnighters, and will be a chance for RPers of all kinds to get together.

So on to the details.

Where: Kaison Corporation Supergroup Base, redside
When: Friday, September 2nd, 8PM EST until 12PM EST (possibly later)
Why: To give RPers a chance to get together and start building relationships

Since I'll be holding it in my base, that unfortunately means it will be for villain and rogue characters only. You can get around this by creating a level one version of your heroes just to get in to the facilities. This also means I'm going to need some help, since I can only invite seven people to the base on my own. I think I can dual box a trial account just to invite people, but that's hardly enough. I'll need some temporary SG members that can invite people to teams to get inside the event. Whether the help is IC wait staff or completely OOC, I don't care. I just need some people willing to lead a team and /invite people for different segments of time, hoping for blocks of an hour or so.

Any and all RPers are welcome to attend. I will be policing for legitimate griefers. You can come and go as you please with any number of your characters.

This is not a recruitment drive. Mine is a solo SG and I don't have the time or interest to run a very active SG.

I don't want to sound overconfident, but provided you have a sample of said medication it should not be very difficult at all to break it down and replicate the formula. How much of this medication do you have left? Is it year's worth? A month's?

I do have a sample of said medication, and I have about two months supply left; it's been an interesting week so far, knowing that I could either run out of my needed injections or finally have a mind capable of reproducing it indefinitely (and I do mean indefinitely, should you manage to replicate it I will gladly pay whatever fees are needed to continue doing business with the Kaison Corporation). ((Possibly bad news, everyone. I've just been notified that I will have to make a business trip this week which will make it impossible for me to host the event as originally planned.

I have postponed the event until the following Friday. I hope this does not prevent anyone from attending. If a large amount of feedback from this is "no, we can't make it," then I will reschedule again. I would like to have kept this event on a Saturday night, but I'll be seeing Kamelot in Toronto on the 3rd. There's no way in hell I'm missing that.

Please help me spread the word that this event has been postponed.))

I still need people willing to help me out by becoming a temporary SG member and leading a team so more people can access the base. That's as much involvement as you'd need, because I could use the League Interface to move people around in your team.

If you know several people from your own Supergroup would like to attend, I can offer a temporary coalition to allow all of you access to the base.

Finally, I'm looking for a few "paid" IC helpers: anyone willing to pose as a doctor, researcher, or wait staff for the corporation as well as lead a team for base access. These positions would probably be best if its a second account of yours you can dual box and leave the character inactive but doing a continuous emote. I'd pay 20m influence per hour per character for this purpose. ))

(( Apologies not much of an RPer, I read sig and got here. Can dual box my accounts and sit in while I sleep. Would love to be there in person but well I work at night and that's about when I sleep. So if you can login early that day and start the league I can use a toon on each account so you gain 14 spots to let people on. Of course you yourself would have to stay logged in so you can access my team spots but well I'm sure you can come up with something. ))
