'Number of enemies' scaling powers
Quote:
This is power specific. In general aura-type toggle powers (such as the ones you mention) are auto-hit but click style ones (such as Soul Drain) are more likely to require a hit check. Rough rule of thumb, if it doesn't take accuracy enhancements, it's probably autohit.
1) Do these powers need a to hit check of any sort for their efficacy to improve?

2) Do pseudo-pets count towards the number of enemies in range? |
As an example, In Maria Jenkins arc there is one map which has a lab with fires. I have seen Mastermind pets attack the fires despite the fires being untargetable by players. Given that it's possible that those would count for the scaling auras.

Invincibility, Rise to the Challenge, Against All Odds, and the (coming soon) Entropy Aura are all autohit. (I'm pretty sure Entropy Aura will be autohit, I see no reason why it would not follow the pattern of the first 3)

I'm pretty sure Chilling Embrace is as well, but I'm not 100% on that one.
Any damage aura in the game, however, does require a to-hit check.

CE is auto-hit indeed.

Soul Transfer, Rise of the Phoenix, and the corpse-targeting Warshade powers are auto-hit as well.
The reason for the rezzes being auto-hit is when you are dead your enhancements have no effect, so any accuracy slotting would be pointless.
And the corps-targeting Warshade powers are auto-hit because normally you can't target a corpse, so a to-hit roll on something you aren't allowed to target makes no sense.

Enhancements still work when you are dead, fairly certain. And you can target dead bodies. I do it all the time.

Several powers in the game scale based on the number of enemies in range. I'm thinking of several of the auras specifically, like Invul, Shield, and WP. I have 2 questions about them. The first I know I've seen somewhere it's just a matter of looking about, but the second question I've not ever heard addressed.
