Breakout/Outbreak - You'll still be there until you finish the old tutorial.
Galaxy: You'll be teleported to New Atlas.
I know that it serves little to no point, but I would love it if these legacy zones would also be added to Ouroboros just like Galaxy is.

You *can* go back (in... one of the menders arcs) to "when you began," after all. And Outbreak is also a map in the arena, or at least part of it is (the area surrounding the smouldering pile of debris.)

The character I had in the old Faultline was transported to the top of the Doughnut Shop in the new Faultline ( which, if I remember correctly, was the same spot where the Faultline Base teleporter used to drop you ).

As i recall, the Devs added code so that after about 5 seconds or so your character gets sent to a "valid" zone if your character is in a zone that's been removed/changed. i'm pretty sure that when the Rikti Crash Site was first phased out i had a character still in the zone who could wander around, but that was shortly after the change. i think that now you automatically get moved to a "valid" zone after a few seconds when logging into removed zones.

I once forgot that I'd logged out in the ski hill chalet, and the XMas event was over by the time I came back in. For a fraction of a second, I was in a dark area with chalet NPCs nearby, then suddenly I was outside the wooden ski hill door in Pocket D.

Here's a question that probably no player knows the answer to with certainty, but I thought I'd ask it anyway.
