Of course there is the supporting character to the story that gets overlooked far too often: the location. The maps and visuals of where you are performing your escapades can be the strongest story-telling tool you have in your arsenal. If you have your final boss battle inside of an Icon tailor shop, that is definitely saying something about the story as a whole. Obviously there is a reason that you and your mortal foe ended up in this area for your showdown, and the map is there to support your story just as any other character would. |
