[AE] [Custom Enemy] Relation between tickets and experience?
*dons flame proof suit*
I have a question that I've not been able to find an answer to one way or the other over the past few days, via paragon wiki, in-game or on these boards. Save me, o' knowing ones. Okay. I have a custom enemy group. (Elemental-Fu Ninjas, specifically ice ninjas at the moment, though I am going to be making different types.) While assigning them powers, I noticed that different powers give different percentages of the enemy type's maximum experience. (Ain't I just so observant? ) I also noticed that standard/standard (non-AE enemy difficulty) for gives 75% experience. If I want 100% experience, I need to select hard/hard. *blinks* Does this experience percentage affect tickets? If I take standard/standard, do the enemies only give 75% of the tickets they would give if I took hard/hard? Or ...? Anyone know? |
Oh well.
quick reply - choose custom powers. The XP rate is much more accurate. Some enemies, especially ranged attack powersets will give 95-100% experience at standard/standard, but only if you're set to custom power choices. Tickets are extremely random and they are nearly impossible to determine if the XP rate affects the ticket drop rate. Even in a single mission, on a team one person could get 20 tickets while another person gets 120 tickets.
Whether tickets drop or not is random, but the ticket rewards from individual enemies are dependent on their XP/inf rewards. Critters that don't award full XP, whether they're custom critters or a standard group like high-level Family, won't award as many tickets. On the other hand, enemies that are higher-con will award more tickets.
