Uh... Well... interesting billboard in Faultline... probably not a new find.

I'm sure somebody else found this by now, but... Well... Perhaps I'll let the picture speak for itself.

Not sure why, but tinypic doesn't work for me... well, ever, no matter who uses it. Can't even just bring up tinypic.com.

Here's hoping Imageshack works better for you, my friend.
Awk, My AVG Active Surf Shield detected what it thinks is a threat on this page.

That's one of the billboards from the player created billboard contest. You'll also see them for zombcare, think something like "Cap'n Jack's crab shack" or some such (look in IP,) and a few others.

The sign itself is no problem. It's the zone in which I found it.

I'm assuming you are talking about a very Praetorian billboard being in Faultline (or what looks like Faultline to me)... I'm not sure if the billboards rotate images or not but if so I doubt the devs coded some things as Praetorian only. If not then it's just a mistake on the devs part. Which we all know never happens.... right?

What? You're surprised that TPN bought advertisement space in Primal Earth?

I don't think the billboards rotate since I always see the same Zombcare sign in Kings Row.

And I'm actually quite surprised a Praetoria-only television station bought advertising space in a small chunk of an alternate dimension with which they are presently at war. Obviously there was a mixup at the billboard company, and they meant to show a beautiful view of scenic Praetoria with the words, "SEE WHAT YOU'RE MISSING?"

You do realize that the real advertising companies have people to put advertisements on their bodies... right...

or that some companies have ran promotions for people to name their babies after a product?

Seriously, TPN having a billboard in Primal Earth ain't exactly hitting the sheer... depths... that real-life advertising agencies have hit.

Hilarious, if irrelevant. People would have the Oreo logo tattoed on their forehead at a company's behest because there would be Oreos to be bought. This particular billboard is more akin to a local Mom & Pop store in New York with only the one store to their name paying for advertising space in Hong Kong. Aside, of course, from the language barrier.

It's not an advertising low I'm worried about so much as it is a questionable use of money for an attention-grabbing ad aimed solely and directly at not only people who will and in fact cannot ever experience nor enjoy the programming advertised, but have quite little reason to care to know how the weather is doing in Imperial City.

Okay, how about this .... Praetorian television technology is years ahead of Primal Earth's and can actually broadcast across dimensions...?

Though that still wouldn't explain why citizens of Paragon City would care about the weather in Praetoria.

I am surprised they still have TV's doesn't everyone just stream that sort of information now...honestly with the warwalls, the weather is pretty darn static. You'd only have to be slightly smarter than a dog to forecast in paragon and praetoria. Now if she was forecasting the "coming storm" well that would be something else entirely.
