Fort Build Critique, please

Let me preface this by saying I've never played a fort; I've been night widow my entire career. So if I've chosen powers that are less than amazing or something of the like please tell me. I'm also unsure what to do about the darkest night, towards the end I was running out of slots and there isn't much to do with one power and two slots.. so I took DN for team assist?

It's running 46.8/46.2/45 defs and 62.5/61.9/60.9 with ML.
ML is perma and Hasten is 5 seconds from perma.

I built it focusing on defense and recharge figuring that I could get the most out of it that way, and that it would play similar to my mind/psi dom.

Mids says every control power is only base 2 second duration, really?

You probably need to switch from pvp to pve mode for control durations. PvP is a completely different game. If you have PvP questions, you should most likely ask those in the PvP forums.

you may want to turn on attacked/attacking suppression if you haven't already in order to get more accurate defense numbers.

You're right that was clicked, otherwise nothing else changed. I don't have interest in pvp. Any pve comments on it?

What you've got looks absolutely fine to me. I wouldn't change anything if those are the powers you prefer.

You might check your End use--it's possible you may be able to skip Cardiac and go Musculature for the damage bonus. However your own testing in play will tell you that.

Other wise looks like a very sturdy Fort build. I might steal it for my 2nd build.

The problem is, Gameboy, that I don't know what powers to choose..? It's a little easier to choose NW powers because it's a scrapperish build. From my dom and NW I know about dom/total dom/scream and all the teamwork powers everything else is rather new to me.

I think I chose the ones I did because my NW rocks ST and I wanted to be able to push some AoE out of my fort, in addition it is easy to tell that certain powers should be skipped (mainly just scramble). I took gloom for the set bonus and later chose DN because it could be useful. I could just as easily put in mental blast/take out tk blast-move gloom slots over and fill in with something else--but that's the advice I'm looking for I suppose.

To me it looks like a nice build, I don't imagine dmg will be suffering and with near perma hasten and perma ML, soft capped positional defs all around it feels like I've succeeded with what I set out to build for this fort. I just lack any play time on a fort.

Any Gameboy, thank you for liking it. I have the 45%dam and the 33%dam/end T3s, I'm just not sure which T4 route to go. My widow build pretty much needs cardiac as the end from musc doesn't quite cut it. But maybe fort can use it.

The powers you did choose look fine to me. You've got the mandatory ones, and all the others are up to you. All you can do is try it out. As long as you're soft capped and Mind Link is perma or pretty close, it's probably good. It also looks very similar to the build I use on Trials, so I don't think you'll have problems.

It's not a bad remake, but your FF proc is giving a false reading that your ML is still perma when unless you're procing that fast could be a little off.
Do you see less of a need for TT:veng than I? Granted its nice for the team when someone expires, but really not a need.
Otherwise, nice take off of what I built.
