A throw together build just to get a starting point

Trying to come up with a final build (atleast til I can do better) for my SS/Fire/Mu Brute
I'm wanting to use him to do fire farms mostly starting out, but would also like to be able to use him in other missions aswell. Just realized I don't have any KB protection, but I'm out of time to rework that in right now.

Can this combo do farms and missions both very well without having to use purple sets?
Not against using purples later on once I'm able to afford them (don't think I've gotten a purple drop in 6 months now).

Any help and suggestions would be greatly appreciated, even if it's tearing the whole build apart and shredding it to never be seen again for a whole new outcome.

Thanks!!!

Having just gotten my own first SS/FA to 50lvl (and first brute too), here is my suggestions.

Knockout Blow - Drop the KB recipes and go straight melee. While Knockout Blow won't be used often in a AE farm, it does on normal task forces and such. So you don't want any extra knock back from taking place.

Combat Jumping - its best as a mule, so just one slot it with a LoTG globe recharge.

Rage - Just three slot it with recharge, that's all it needs. You got yellows to help with your to-hit.

Consume - Just four slot it with taunt for the recharge set bonus. Endurance wise, mine will get me back to full even slotted that way.

Burn - You, without doubt, want all six slots in that power. This power is amazing with FB, even on the AVs in a BAF.

Tactics - Dump, toss overboard...its not needed! As I said, you will get enough yellow inspr or can convert enough to keep your + to-hit pretty high.

Summon Striker - Personal choice, but one you won't see on a AE farm build. Anyways, you can get a better pet elsewhere.

Don't you know that discussion of power selection/slotting can ONLY be based on hearsay, rumor, idle speculation, and bald-faced lies??!? ~Elf_Sniper

It actually doesn't add knockback to the power, rather knockup. It's pretty funny actually, seeing enemies going flying up in the air.

It may be funnier, but you lose like 29% to your damage because you went for having some fun instead of just doing damage. Knockout Blow is a nice attack, when you're facing something bigger and badder then you. I use it alot in Trials vs the AVs.

Unless somehow it got posted wrong Knockout Blow isn't slotted with knockback enhan. It's suppose to be slotted with 5 Melee enhan, (4 kinect coombats and 1 crusing impact (acc/dmg) enhan)

Not where I can pull it back up to check for sure atm so I could be wrong.

Thanks for the helpful info!

Np, with my postings sometimes there's no telling what'll happen. I try to keep up and read things on my iphone alot and that can be a challenge.

Before I start reworking the very rough build, I've used some procs in the build, in this type of build should the procs be slotted heavily, slightly, or not at all? If they are of big use what powers are the best to put them in and are there certain procs that should be used?

Thanks Again!

Procs are gravy. If you can fit them in its wonderful, but don't gimp yourself to achieve them.

Your character does not have capped defense. Depending on your AT the cap is between 175% - 225%. Your defense is not teal in the combat window, it can go higher. STOP SAYING IT IS CAPPED! The correct term is Soft Cap.
I enjoy playing in Mids. I specialize in Melee Characters, other AT's usually bore me.
