Anyone know what will happen to the Galaxy Beacon?

I see that Galaxy City is going to be closed and turned into a expanded tutorial zone. Does anyone know what is going to happen to the teleport beacon?

That and the badges and plaques you need in there eh for history badges and the like. I guess it will all need to be moved. Unless they leave the tutorial as open somehow. Perhaps a instance of Galaxy in ruins you revisit in yer 20's and try to repair or somesuch?.... If not then probably just get's erased as a beacon option.

Well War Witch made this statement but it didn't cover teleport beacons so I wondered if anything had been said down here. I guess not.

Well, if it's like the RWZ, it'd probably either (a) convert to an active zone (probably atlas/mercy,) or (b) just go inactive.

Or hopefully it will allow porting to the Echo of Galaxy instead much like the old 'Faultline' beacon initially sent people to old 'Faultline' when new Faultline went live.
