Has it been mentioned.... ideas for Freedom

OK, as the official discussion has become gi-normous and I don't feel like searching through it, I thought I would threw a few ideas out. Maybe these have been brought up already, maybe not.


1) Increase the Inf cap for VIP's.
Cuz ya know, why not?

2) Name of the VIP server.
I sure hope it's not just gonna be called 'the VIP Server.' It should have a cool name. And while we're at it, why not ask for some ideas from the current players? Then get the players to vote on the name. Now, I could see this as a way for the Devs to allow current subscribers some input into the conversion process to CoH: Freedom. Maybe. But anyways, my idea is 'Freem Club' ala the movie Fight Club. The #1 rule of Freem Club... we don't talk about Freem Club (to non-VIPs).

3) Character Unlocks.
Now I am under the impression that if someone goes from Premium to VIP to Premium again, the following would happen: Whatever the current amount of 'unlock slots' the player is allowed, the player choses which slots to unlock on which servers except the VIP server. Then those slots are locked to that server. After some point, the player goes VIP status and can play all toons, make new toons up to slots allowed. Then due to money constraints, the player goes back to Premium status. The player then can unlock different toons (or the same ones) based on what server they originally chose those first slots to be on at time they were Premium. (I'm afraid I'm loosing my train of thought here...) Anyways, could there be some kind of 'retirement' where someone could chose a different toon to play. Not make a new toon but choose a different toon already created to play again. Either as a freebie once-a-month deal or pay for option. Keep in mind the player I am describing has put some money into the coffers and has been a VIP.

I thought the current limit on Influence was a system limitation.

It's a system limitation in that the devs set the cap at 2 billion, I believe. Still, I see no need to raise it. Most of us don't hit it that often, you know.
