F2P & Virtue
Forgive me for not reading the past 26 pages of this as I am sorta late to the game regarding this F2P, but how does this affect a current subscriber that decides to downgrade to F2P?
The information is on the website. Here is the comparison chart showing the difference between account types. Premium players are those who once paid subscription, but are now free to play.

SG Mate: Cien, what the hell is this Rookery thing?
RadDidIt: (interjecting) Dude. It's the Rookery.
SG Mate: Yeah, but what IS it?
RadDidIt: Silliness Incarnate.
I have two questions.
1: The 2 slots for F2P accounts and up-to-36 for VIP accounts, is this per-server or account-wide?
2: If it's account-wide, why are they suddenly and punitively restricting VIP accounts like this?
If the answer is "Per server" then disregard question 2 entirely.
Ice/Ice Blaster. Dedication to concept is an ugly thing.
Claws/WP Brute. Sex without the angst.
Every CoX character lies somewhere on this spectrum.
2 slots per account for F2P, per server for VIP on the 36, if I've read correctly. BUT SOMEONE CAN CORRECT ME.
A starting 2 slots for F2P and 12 for VIP. The same 12 you started with anyhow. And any extra slots (like the ones previously purchased or the one you gain every year you subscribe) will remain open. So if you currently have 24 slots open and go F2P/premium I believe you'll end up with 14 slots

Every CoX character lies somewhere on this spectrum.
- Two slots total for all servers if you're free to play.
- 12 slots per server for VIPs.
- Both get additional slots (to their total) based on vet reward redeeming or store purchases, just like now (amusingly, if I went free I'd have access to 26 slots instead of 2 thanks to all the money I've thrown at buying slots on Virtue).
I believe that makes question 2 disregarded, as nothing is changing character slot access wise for us subscribers. I think their design goal for subscribers is 'nothing has changed except here have a bunch of monopoly money every month'.
Weight training: Because you'll never hear someone lament "If only I were weaker, I could have saved them."
