The handful of clips that have been released online have me a good deal more hopeful for this than I was with the first trailer. But I'll still be trying to keep my expectations from getting too high as well.

Plan to see the midnight showing. 1st trailer didn't instill a lot of confidence. The later ones were better, but still kind of nervous about how this movie is going to turn out.

Well, it can't be too bad; it looks like they're being very faithful to the comic by appearance alone. Every character is depicted accurately as far as I can tell and it looks like the powers of the Lantern rings are also depicted accurately. Hell, the Green Lantern mantra is even there.
Accuracy = Good, right?
I will be going to see it in the theater, It looks like fun, and I need to support my DC comics heroes.

Ok. Just Fandango'd my tickets. I have no idea what to expect in terms of quality...but GL was a childhood favorite of mine. I am going to hit a midnight show, so I'll know relatively early. I am trying to keep my hype-meter low...but there is a ten year-old kid inside me screaming for joy.
