i dont think its just you, even on the other servers poeple have found random portals or baddies that got missed (few servers even had goliath warwalkers turning up in PI)
No, there are remnants everywhere. In Atlas Park 5 I saw a troop portal sitting over City Hall, and one inside of City Hall as well. In Kings Row there are at least 2-3 of the portals. I've also heard of them being in one of the Peregrine Islands.
On Pinnacle last Saturday night we ran into Nightstar just standing by a cave door over near the mountains in Cap. Needless to say our team took her out. I'm not sure when Pinnacle had their invasion, but she was just standing around looking very lonely :smirk:

I say Emperor Cole still has his minions gathering intel on us! He needs to find out our weakness so that his next attack he can win! LOL 
I don't know if it's just Mercy Isle, or everywhere else on Freedom, but I keep seeing remnants of the recent Praetorian invasion. I rolled up a brand new Stalker villain side, and what's the first thing I see after the tutorial? A giant green laser of death bombarding the front of Fort Darwin. It lingers there for several seconds before exploding and leaving.
Then, after said explosion, I get on a team for some Doctor Creed missions. As I make my way towards the contact, I see... a Praetorian portal? Yup, right over the archway to Doctor Creed's little plaza. Nothing ever emerged from said portal though... it just kind of... sat there, like "sup."
So, we get started on our missions, and as the team travels between missions, some team member randomly gets hits with the green orbital laser again, though it doesn't do any damage. It just zaps us harmlessly and goes away. Aside from the random lasers and that one strange portal, nothing else really happened that day.
The next day, I log onto said Stalker again to do a quick solo mission or two. This time, on my way to Fort Mercy, I see an odd looking man standing amidst the rubble. I get closer to him, and I see he's an IDF Commander, once again, just standing there. There weren't any other Praetorians around him, just him all by his lonesome self. Being the ever-so-eager one, I try to attack him. Needless to say, a lowbie Stalker versus a GM-coded boss ends up pretty one-sided, and I die. That was the only out-of-place thing that day, and once I got to Port Oakes, everything seemed normal.
Is anybody else noticing remnants of Cole's little invasion? Is it just Mercy Isle, or has this been happening in other places as well?
