Whats more surviable. dp/em, dp/fm or ta/dp
Easily ta/dp. The blaster combos will bring fun new ways to deal damage in their secondaries, and a bit of mitigation, but the defender will excel in debuffs and control type powers in his primary. The damage will be down a good bit, but I am sure it would be more survivable by a notable amount.
Words to the wise aren't necessary- it's the stupid ones that need them.

The first two because DP/TA will make you want to suicide due to the redraw.

The blaster will do more damage. The defender will be more survivable in the context that they have debuffs. If I want a survivable DP character, I go Traps over TA.

ThatÂ’s exactly what i was thinking. WHY DO I ALWAYA AGREE WITH YOU!?!?!?!?!? >.<
Plus, imho TA doesn't really add that much survivability to the user. I love the set, but something like dark/ traps/ etc etc would add much more noticeable survivability.

I can attest to DP Traps..
I have a DP / Traps IO'ed for Positional defense cap. Really fun toon.

Only considering the tricks they can bring from there primaries and secondaries, which would you find more survivable?
Seems they are all about the same damage potential.
