There are three severs (or server groups, rather) players can deal with.
First is live.
Then there is test - aka "The Training Room" - needs a separate client
and then there is "Beta" - a third client is needed for this.
Are you on an EU account? Last I heard the system still hadn't be changed to allow EU accounts to copy from Live-to-Test.

No I'm on north american servers. I was under the impression that the new launcher is all you need instead of having to run seperate clients. In my launcher my choices are live, test and beta. but then when I got to copy a character the choices are beta and going rogue. so it's a lil bit confusing... I just need to know at the client which one to click and at character copy... which one to click. easy right? one would think! lol

And it still requires separate clients unless you like to have to keep patching between versions.
In the launcher there is a way to make it add a beta server install.

You have to have separate directory installs of Live, Test, and Beta.

Hi,
I hope this isn't a redundant question but I've tried to search and couldn't find specific direction.
I 'heard' that the test/beta server is up and public and ready for testing. So I went to update it but there is some confusion over if it is the test or beta server. Then when I go to character copy the server designations are different: test server and going rogue server. So there is further confusion onto which one to copy characters. After all this I logged on to public beta then had a drop down list of servers I've never seen before... so which one to click there? ok I tried the top one and it said there was no public access. therefore is it possible I just answered my own question?
if there is public access on test or beta I need specific instructions with pin point accurate verbage (and a silver platter too please). =)
and while I'm here let me just take this opportunity to thank the devs for changing the forums back from german to english... I can now navigate again!
