That's a limitation of the Ley Tap itself.

Like SpaceNut( and yourself) said the Ley Tap only holds 2 Aux items. Even though the room holds unlimited you are limited to what your primary energy item can hold.
So what you may need to do is see what energy using devices you don't absolutely need are and remove them.

If you don't already have it, there is a larger generator available.
Get a bunch of PvP kills in SG mode and you will earn the badge that unlocks it. I'm pretty sure you and an SG-mate can take turns killing each other and it will count toward the badge.

I'm honestly surprised you were able to eat up all your energy and not run into control problems.
Out of the 3 bases I maintain, it's always been control that's acting as my limiting factor...

Hello, my name is Soulwind and I have Alt-Itis.
Hello: I am having problems with my Base energy. I have the largest plot and the ley taps. The info on the base and energy room says it will accept unlimited "Energy Aux." , but it does not. It will only accept 2 capacitors per Ley Tap. I have tried the Mana lens and every other energy extra from my work shop, to no avail. Any suggestions are apreciated and TY in advance, L1011A
