bots/traps build for soloing gm's/av's

hey community

just looking for some help with my MM im making for PvE. he is 50 and ready to be slotted im just a bit unsure how to slot though :P
if someone could give me just the power layout of what to get im sure i can work out the enhancements and such from there

Oh man,

Its Bots/Traps. Do whatever floats your boat you'll be fine.

Just be sure to throw on as much +DEF as possible, slap in some +RES if you feel like it. TAKE PROVOKE, and your done. The great thing about Bots/Traps is that it requires absolutely no finesse or strategy Hell with my b/t I don't even bother to use my secondary abilities most of the time. I just walk into the middle of the mobs and read the forums until they are all dead.

When you fight gm/av's ... just put down whatever traps you like and use provoke when its up. Try and keep your stupid pets out of melee range, use provoke. And your done.

It doesn't really make for an awesome epic battle to watch but its the end that matters right?

I'm more then positive if you do a search for "robot traps" or "traps" you will find more defense cap builds then you can "shake a stick at" ( what that means I don't know, just sounded right ).

Robot Traps is one of the most popular builds.

I just went back 8 pages and found a robot trap thread on each page with builds.

What you need to know is Defense Cap

And if you know that then you just inspect the builds posted and take one you like.

Nutshell Robot Traps builds all are the same. Except either your going to rely on your protector bot to obtain defense cap or your going to cap out without the need of your pets. Your ancillary or epic is your choice and should have no bearing on obtaining defense cap.

You don't even need to be softcapped. I started soloing GMs with an incomplete build, around 40% defense to all. My most recent GM fight (Scrapyard), I forgot to turn on my toggles and did it at 38%.
