Why don't voids attack Policebringers?

I just got a tip mission full of PPD Awakened, Unleashed, et cetera and the Void Hunters seemed to get along with THOSE Kheldians pretty well. I wonder why that would be?

Failure of story continuity?

Be well, people of CoH.

They *shouldn't*. In other missions, Longbow will attack any Voids that show up. The problem is that the developers are firmly of the "**** the lore, villain Khelds should still face their special enemies AND whatever other enemies are on the map." mindset.

Yeah I know that longbow attack the voids which is why I was particularly surprised how well the voids and policebringers coexisted.

I'm guessing someone did not set up those mobs appropriately: the ability is clearly there, from Longbow's behavior (and Vanguard, I think).

Of course, Kheldian special mobs have been an issue for a long while. Cysts should never spawn except when part of a specific mission: the storylines with them clearly show that they're not common and should not just be showing up randomly. I'd say voids are in the same boat, but I can appreciate the opposite argument.

At any rate, the special mobs are a good idea that have never been supported well by the game tech, unfortunately.

Ahh, but they're set as separate spawns (or rather as a "battle," if you look at AE's controls." I don't know that it's possible to (intentionally) aggro just to a mob type that gets added.

Then again, so many of these things are broken in game, I don't think the devs know what's happening. Ambushes attack their own side, the Vanguard only attack the Rikti spawned in at the beginning of the mission they're "set" to attack and ignore the ten groups that just wander by... yeah. Just one thing on the long list of "Broken game items."

After repeated traumatization by PPD Equalizers in the lower levels, the Voids decided that they're gonna leave the PPD alone.

I traumatized them too, and they wouldn't give up. >
