Queue system

I'm not sure how it is on all servers but I've noticed that it is rarely used on guardian. I like the idea of the queue system but it apparently needs some help. I couldn't find a thread on the subject in my limited search, but I would like to propose a thread dedicated to correcting problems with it or improving its functionality.

My personal vote goes towards:

1 fix the avg wait time
2 show the number of players currently waiting and the amount needed to start
3 show player names currently waiting
4 tank brute controller etc.

Ideas?

If I were fixing it I'd do three things:

1. Change the avg wait time to only include people who actually wait (i.e. discard any times less than, say, 10 seconds)
2. Provide some "league formation controls" such as min-max size, an "I will lead" tag and a "locked league" control
3. Provide an incentive (i.e. better rewards) to encourage people to enter the queue solo or in small teams.

How about:

1) When you're in the queue, people can still send you invites to a team or a league, and you can actually see the invitation, instead of standing there blissfully unaware you're being invited.

For those who don't know, if you're in the queue, you do not see invites sent to you. Pretty stupid if you ask me.

I'd eliminate the "average wait time" thing entirely. Even a brief overview of queueing theory would tell you why you'll never get a number that's actually meaningful to the players. In its place, I'd put "number of people in queue".
