This build didn't make it where I hoped... KM/Elec

So originally I had this great idea in my head of the highest (or 2nd to /fire) ST dps melee toon with a S/L softcap to boot.

Well I didn't make the S/L softcap, and I don't have anywhere near an awesome chain, so the build fell short pretty much everywhere.

Should I sacrifice one for the other, or am I missing something obvious?

This is an unfinished one I was working on a while ago. Clearly much more expensive than yours, but it makes better use of electric armor. Incarnate is musculature radial, in case that doesnt show up. 42-43% is practically softcap.

This is one of those things where I am lost as to what you were attempting. You skipped the best attack power in KM.

It appears you were shooting for the soft cap, and shot yourself in the foot instead.

I was going for Single Target DPS, CS is nice for burst, but doesn't help me there if I couldn't fit it

Here, my pylon time is 2 min and 55 seconds with this build. I have no survivability issues, unless I take ambien before playing.

Not a cheap build, and there is no focus on def, so it may not be what you are looking for.

I wasn't certain if I should focus on def or not, very little exp with elec outside of this guy and I'm still playing him, so NO high end exp.

Maybe drop back on Defense to 32.5%? the nyou can pop a purp. That will aloow you more room to focus on some real trouble areas. Like your End Drain!!!!!!!!!!! recharge and DPA/DPS For a descent attack chain you want around 120% recharge with at least 1.5 end/second recovery above your useage. Defense is pretty and all and if you as a scrapper can fit it in then go for it. But as a ELA is its very hard to reach softcaps without some sort of Gimping in another area. Remeber that ELA is very good wen it comes to Resistances (bar toxic) and rolling at 32.%% def is good enough for a scrapper that way you can focus on your ST dmg more
