Strike Force Sundays
Once again the Hamidon had an objection to our attempted Master run of Lady Grey, that dastard! Despite failing to get the master badge we still had a good run and fun was had by all. Special thanks to Omega for alting to a controller and to Syanth for lending us his bottomless bag of EoEs .

Next up on the List is the Barracuda Strike Force, and we'll be attempting a master run on this one as well. So if you like the idea of 8 evil-doers taking out an army of nazis then meet up in Grandville next Sunday, January 8th at 5pm PST/8pm EST!

I have 2 toons that need the MoLGTF, so I have been collecting EoEs to ease the Hami part of the MoLGTF. I will always have a bottomless bag, I just need to get 2 of those Mo runs done.
Take care.

Alas, my MM was too squishy to handle the massive ambush and we failed the master run. In fact, one of the 2 bonus screenshots this week has me faceplanted in it. We gave it a good try though and hopefully Ex will have better luck on tuesday.

So next up on the List is the Mender Silos Strike Force, and since that's quick we'll also do an Apex Strike Force. We'll even try for the Master badges on Apex, the only hard one is defeating Battle Maiden quickly anyway. So if you wanna help me beat the snot out of the freedom phalanx, meet up in villain ouroboros next Sunday, January 15th at 5pm PST/8pm EST!
Just wanted to say that I had a really great time last night and...
*Glances at team pic*
...am really looking forward... to the Silos... and... Apex...
*Leans in and squints at team pic*
By Nemesis' bronze beard, what is wrong with my armor in that pic? All the Celestial armor pieces are light gray and pink rather than the black and deep purple they're supposed to be! Is this what this costume really looks like to other people?!
*Storms off to perform major acts of villainy at the local tailor shop*

My girlfriend had the same issue with her main, she had this costume mixing and matching a bunch of different things and it worked really well. The pants were Armor Plate colored white and with everything else white they didn't seem out of place. But when they added ultra mode and made a lot of pieces reflective the armor plate turned grey instead of white, screwing up her whole costume. Sadly, when I mentioned it in the All Things Art thread the dev's solution was "Turn off reflections, then it'll look like it used to" which was no help at all.
Ok, done ranting... for now.

On sunday we ran both the Mender Silos Strike Force and the Apex Strike Force and it only took about an hour! Next time Mender Silos is in the lineup I'm probably going to run it on higher difficulty because it was a breeze this last time. When we started Apex unfortunately one of our team was claimed by real life so we pressed on with a team of 7. Even so we managed to get all the badges to unlock the Master badge (even though we averaged 1 death per minute overall)! Our enemies were so upset they kept sending magic swords to interrupt our screenshot at the end.

Next up on the List is the Tin Mage Strike Force. We'll try for all the badges as usual on that. Also, if we get that done fast enough I may go back to the start of the list and do a Tarikoss SF run. So meet up in the Rikti War Zone next Sunday, January 22nd at 5pm PST/8pm EST!
Note: I couldn't add links to next week's strike forces because ParagonWiki is offline today to protest the anti-piracy laws that are currently in congress.
I like the view on that second one.
Tin Mage went smoothly. We managed to get all the badges except Midnight Dodger, darn Malta and their invisible minelayers!

It's time to start over at the top of the List with a Virgil Tarikoss Strike Force! So break out your lowbies and we'll go mop the floor with some fiery demons! Meet up in Cap Au next Sunday, January 29th at 5pm PST/8pm EST!
I've updated the SFS events on the Protector Calendar up through April. The titles now show which SF will be run on any given week.
Brainnnnnsssssss! Oh, sorry about that. I got bit by a zombie after last sunday's Tarikoss run. So as you may have guessed we triggered a zombie invasion again and managed to get all those badges and the pumkin head costume piece!

Next up on the List is the Silver Mantis Strike Force, level 20+, which awards the Air Pirate badge. So if you want to beat up Sky Raiders, Sky Raiders, and more Sky Raiders meet up in Sharkhead next Sunday, February 5th at 5pm PST/8pm EST!
Ok, first thing's first, our new banner courtesy of Chef Inferno:
Eventually I'll make a small banner for each SF and rotate them every week, but until then you'll have this making you hungry.
Now down to business; this week's Silver Mantis SF went smoothly, despite some sort of sporting event causing low populations on the server.

Next up on the List is the Mortimer Kal Strike Force which awards all sorts of goodies. If you don't already know about it's rewards click on the link to read about them, and while you're at it look over the rest of that page so you know what to do and when to do it. We'll be meeting up in Sharkhead next Sunday, February 12th at 5pm PST/8pm EST!
With 3 time manipulation characters this week Posi didn't stand a chance! We filled the team very quickly this time around via word of mouth, so I never even got around to spamming the globals to fill out the team. As a bonus, I hadn't realized that my Wolf Spider had never done this one before, so I got a surprise badge at the end!

So next up on the List is the 1st Villain Respec Trial. Since that one is usually pretty quick I plan on doing a Operative Renault Strike Force afterwards. If you want to show mother nature who's boss by beating up a tree then some fish, meet up in Nerva next Sunday, February 19th at 5pm PST/8pm EST!
Ok, so I almost forgot to do my post this week! Anywho, last sunday went well, we even fought off a rikti invasion before starting. Also we did both SFs in record time!*
*at least in my SFS records, I know they've been done faster by non SFS teams at some point.

Now, according to the List we'll be doing the two mid-level Ouroboros strike forces, Mender Tesseract and Mender Lazarus. We can usually get both done in under an hour without any trouble. So if you want to get your fill of golden age arachnos and sci-fi nazis, meet up this sunday, March 4th at 5pm PST/8pm EST!
Last sunday was typical for when we do the Ouro SFs, small teams and loads of fun.

Next on the List for this sunday will be the Second Respec Trial(Level 34+) followed by the Ice Mistral Strike Force(Level 35+). Who knows, maybe we'll have a new dark control character join us! Meet up in Nerva on Sunday, March 11th at 5pm PST/8pm EST.
For any of you that prefer redside I've created a new global channel called Global Villains for villains from all servers to chat. It's mostly a channel for villain events such as Strike Force Sundays and VEAT Madness to be discussed and for people who have trouble finding redside teams on their server to maybe find another server that's more active. Anyway, type /chan_join "Global Villains" if you're interested in joining.
We had a good turnout for the second Treespec and Ice Mistral this week, each with 7-person teams. And as a bonus I ran a Tarikoss afterwards to get my xp on my lowbie dark/dark dominator.

Next up on The List is the always infamous Imperious Strike Force(Level 35+). So if you want to travel back to an ancient primitive land and fight robots meet up in Cimerora next Sunday, March 18th at 5pm PDT/8pm EDT!
Oops, I'm getting lazy with my updates here! So last week was double XP so when we ran our ITF it was a shard/xp run! We also managed a SFS record 41 deaths!

Tomorrow I'll be start up with a quick 3rd Treespec (level 44+) which should only take about 10-13 minutes, then I'll move on to a Lord Recluse Strike Force (level 45+), possibly a master run if everyone is up for it. So meet up in Nerva tomorrow, March 25th at 5pm PDT/8pm EDT!
Last sunday there seemed to be more interest than usual and the team was filled before I even had a chance to spam the global channels. First we ran a 3rd Respec Trial, which served as a good warm-up for the main event: the Lord Recluse Strike Force. We aimed for a master run, but we weren't really trying that hard so naturally it failed, which of course gave me the freedom to be stupidly reckless.

Now this upcoming sunday I'd like to do something different. Now that the final chapter of the signature story arc is out I'm going to run a Who Will Die marathon, where we'll run through all 7 parts of the Who Will Die story redside. So if you enjoy watching Statesman die as uselessly as he lived meet up in Cap Au this Sunday, April 1st at 5pm PDT/8pm EDT!
The Who Will Die marathon was loads of fun! We started out with a team of 8 and 3 hours and 50 minutes later we finished with a team of 4, 2 of which weren't even on the original team. This was a fun event and I'd like to do it again sometime, but I'll have to make sure to do it earlier in the day since it's almost as long as a doc quarterfield.
I took a few screenshots of the team roster and the ending stats, but since there's so many I won't bother posting them here, I'll just have them in the Photo Album for anyone who's interested.
Next week we're back to following the List with the Lady Grey Strike Force! So if you're in the mood for Rikti, Rikti, and more Rikti meet up next Sunday, April 8th at 5pm PDT/8pm EDT!
Once again we showed the Rikti what happens when they invade our turf. And while beating up Honoree we pretended he was still a hero which made it that much more fun!

Next up on the List is the Barracuda Strike Force. As usual I'm up for attempting a master run as long as there's no objections. So if you feel like feeding the arachnos patrons to a machine to beef up our nazi fighting skills meet up in Grandville next Sunday, April 15th at 5pm PDT/8pm EDT!
Barracuda was loads of fun and we were SO close to getting the master badge this time around. If we had managed to defeat reichsman just a few seconds sooner it would have been a success. And then we had some party crashers try to interrupt our group photo!

Next Sunday, according to the List, will be a Mender Silos Strike Force followed by an Apex Strike Force. This time around I think I'll spice up the Mender Silos SF by cranking my difficulty up to +4x8 so the incarnates don't get bored. So meet up in Villain Ouroboros this Sunday, April 22nd, at 5pm PDT/8pm EDT!
Thank you for running the MoLGSF today!
Take care.
