Interface for Mind/Kin

Hi all. I was looking for some advice on which interface power to focus on. My goal was to allow my controller to do more damage. However after slotting the common Reactive ability, I realized that if I get to the fourth tier there's a 25% chance to do extra damage. And I hear that this damage will break the sleep in memorize.

So, does anyone have any suggestions as to what Interface ability to take on my mind/kin controller? (Suggestions don't have to be related to damage dealing either)

Thank you kindly

Hmm...I have a Mind/Kin too and I hadn't really thought about it (down on the incarnate list as a character). It might depend on what you intend to do with your character.

I was playing my Elec/Sonic the other night and it occurred to me that for large groups, my Disruption Field toggle is a great way not only for me and my pets to do more damage*, but for confused mobs to down themselves faster. Solo, I'd say damage from confused mobs can be a decent chunk of damage. Considering that, I'm not sure the -ToHit from Diamagnetic is perfect; same could go for the -recharge of Gravimetric. or the -DMG in Paralytic, though the -DEF is certainly nice. I think I might lean to sticking with Reactive, just forgoing the Tier 4.

Teamed? I guess anything goes then, as not breaking sleep isn't going to really be an issue anyway.

* of course if you're Fulcrum Shifting and Siphoning Power and Speed from them, I guess you're already diminishing their self-damage capacity...

Well, don't go Very Rare, then. The only difference between Reactive Total Core Interface (Rare, 75% chance of debuff) vs Core Flawless Interface (VRare, 75% debuff, 25% DoT) is the DoT. The debuff isn't gong to trigger more often, or be more powerful. This is what I'm doing, anyway.

If not being Very Rare is that big of a sore spot, I'd go for Diamagnetic. The -Regen will stack with Transfusion, though it's only be noticable vs big targets, and the -tohit will fill in a weak-spot in kin, mainly, no +Def or -ToHit for yourself or your allies. Granted, the effects aren't very huge and barely noticeable solo, buuut most of the Interface effects are like that, anyway.

My second choice would be Paralytic. The -Def would make enemies easier to attack and hit with your targeted debuffs/self-buffs, though the -Damage would be redundant, especially if you have both Siphon Power and Fulcrum Shift.

The way this tree was designed (well, pretty much all of them except Lore), is that you can get DIFFERENT ones, and slot whatever you seem to need at a given time.

Oh, and Crimson demands you play this arc-> Twisted Knives (MA Arc #397769)

I say Gravitic. You don't have to worry about breaking sleeps, and the recharge reduction or the run speed reduction have their uses for a mind controller.
