No transfers are not working yet between NA and EU servers.
No we haven't been told why.
Yes this is the 7th or 8th thread asking the same question and the answer has been the same each time it's been asked.
Yea transfer options are not available yet which sucks because I wanted to move some toons over.

i can understand disabling transfers for a few days to make sure there's no unexpected database problems.

Being unable to move Mei'jin over to Union in time for the Praetorian invasion got in the way of plans I'd made with a couple of friends over there to gang up and smash 'bot butt together. Sadness.

Pie in the sky wishful thinking has me hoping they have more discounted transfer fees planned or dare I say it maybe even (pretty please) some free transfers, and they don't want any impatient players complaining that they feel cheated because they bought their transfers before the "surprise" was activated.
But the most likely reason is that they want to make sure there are no bugs.
