Started out ok, but then it got very bad

It started out fun, but got boring fighting 3 GM class Neurons at once, that along with getting hit by dozens of [mighty roars] (30 point disorient) from the Olympian Guards and the -regen and -recovery that the Heavy guys have made it get less fun with each mob.

I was in PI and it was awesome. We fought every GM that came up and even cleared the adds before the next would hit. But when Ms Liberty said that an attack was imminent on PI people loaded in and the lag descended. But a few of the GMs actually bantered with us even Cole.
I will post screens when I get home.

I was in Talos with a mostly-full league. Lag wasn't too bad until we heard Miss Liberty's "Go to PI" alert and the whole league made the shift. Shortly after, the lag cannons went full bore in PI (2 full leagues in a zone will do that, I guess) and my group ran back to PI.
Great fun, though Bobcat showed up so many times it became something of a running joke. No Tyrant, though we DID have a zombie invasion hit while we were fighting off the Praetorians. Oh, and then the devs dropped a Rikti invasion on Talos right after the Praetorians left. All we needed was a Rularuu invasion and we would have had the full set...
The villains and rogues of the Isles put aside our sundry schemes and dastardly plots long enough to completely beat the snot out of Neuron, Bobcat, Marauder and what seemed like pretty much every Goliath-class Warwalker in Praetoria when they dared to attack Saint Martial.
We were relatively few... but exceptionally vicious.
Cole's toadies never stood a chance.

Talos was awesome first hour no lag, fought Bobcat a bazillion times, took a sweet break inbetween Smallville 2 hr finalle 
it was also excellent, came back right before end of event into crazy lag, did enjoy the end and even fought of the rikti invasion. but I have to agree with DeadWest. If the lag was this bad here on Liberty, then the loadtest on Freedom will not go well. I plan to be there lets see if us Libertarians can join up in our own league and represent 
(EDIT NOTE: I have several characters on Freedom and a small sg base, anyone who wants to join up on Freedom is welcome if you don't already have an established sg or even if you do and just want to join me . There is no uniform, sg colors are blue and white emblem is stars circle star like my avatar. Just shoot me a tell if you want to join in.

I tranferred one of my completed characters over to Freedom for the event, so Solace of Silence (lvl 50 KinMelee scrap-) will be there representing the Elysion bird-things. 'Should be a lag-a-rific good time.

First a Big Thank you for a great event and ending to our DEV'S. Secondly a warm fuzzy to Freedom, they were all very welcoming. I have actually been playing and teaming with them for about a week. I (Starlet Avenger) set up several leagues in Talos as people kept quitting after each wave, something I'm not used to on Liberty. We had a total of 4000 people at the start not only exceeding the 2500+ but actually beating the original 3500 which crashed the server before. So that was very awesome. And since the 2500+ was meant account wide badge was activated so log in to get your special badge heroes and villains.
Fun event and even better then getting a code in the pocket D afterward if you know what I mean So lots of awesome fun and even played my transfered villain during the invasion for some villain action.
I'll have to sort some screenie and see what I got if any and thanks to all the Libertarians who showed up to defeat the Prae on Freedom. You all rule.
