Ice/Dark/Soul Build help
Building for the 59% unnecessary. Just deal with the hurt early. That said, Ice Armor is capable of hitting it if you're build to the 45% softcap. This requires two applications of target capped EA, however, which isn't too difficult to get in the trials. That said, if you build it right and used at least a T3 Nerve, you can go over 60% defense with one target capped EA.

Not sure why you have a recharge IO in wet ice, switch it out for 1 endurance reduction IO? Also, you didn't slot stamina for any endurance modification. The proc really only fires off every 10 seconds in any passive power so it will not benefit you much. Consider at least 3 slotting stamina with endurance modification (3 performance shifters also work) and see how your endurance is after. If you are building the char for trials (incarnate specifically), then it looks as though you're not too concerned about damage output since others will fill that role. If so, you can swith out of soul mastery and into the energy APP to pick up both conserve power and physical perfection. Place 1 recharge IO in conserve power and 3 endurance modification IOs into physical perfection (3 performance shifters also work). You will lose some global recharge as a result of the change. Energy consumption seems underslotted as well for recharge/endurance. Maybe add two slots for efficacy adaptor end redux/end mod and end mod/recharge?
Yes, the recharge was an error. I was thinking it was a click mez protection (too much /sr i guess) and this was corrected live. Live I am using a similiar build although it it is missing the kin combats, 3 lotg, and the miracle/numi procs. I realize that the miracle/numi will help with endurance, but not the amount I'm seeing. I have revised the build to have 47 s/l/e/n def. With darkest night I figure I can get to 5% chance for most of them to hit during new stuff, and be fine of course in old content. It also has same recharge, 100% more regen, and better end use and recovery. The good news also is it saves me from having to use the kin combats. I also shifted some slots around for better end redux as well. From playing several trials and a few tfs now, I have noticed the following:
Holds aggro just like promised
Very sturdy, although nrg damage sucks, and trials are full of it
Very fun
Current build sucks end hard
End is fine when fighting big groups one after another, but on longer AV fights, the two end fillers don't do enough. I changed up dark consumption around for this also, hopefully giving me mroe when against one target.
I'm going spiritual for the recharge/heal (hello hard cap HP and damn near perma)
Still debating on ageless vs barrier. Being one to fix end problems, and of course help recharge for me and team. Or add some resist on top of great def. Either might be overkill and I'll have some time to try it out before I get it unlocked.
Also, I'm not planning on using shadow punch, but its my bruising attack, which now that I think of it I should probably switch it and Smite, or try and take both.
Know I rambled on a bit, but please give me your thoughts.

To solve you endurance issues with AV fights. Cardiac Core! Also, get two more slots into EA and frankenslot it like I do in the build I posted. Loses a whopping 0.03% defense but almost doubles the endurance you get back from a single target. I had similar issues with my tank. Endless endurance in groups but sucking wind against single hard targets. Cardiac, alone, changed that.
Since you'd lose the near perma Hoarfrost, but have Siphon Life, I'd say go Ageless for your Destiny slot.

Yeah I think if I went Ageless that alone would solve my solo fight end problems, and be able to stick with spiritual. Although I could go cardiac for a little more resist as well as end, and still have ageless for recharge.....
After thinking about the attacks though, I know it will be less damage, but Im thinking of switching out of smite for shadow punch higher slotting, or try to slot both for the bruising debuff...........so many options!!!

However, I do agree that Stamina should be more heavily slotted--I usually go with the Perf Shifter +End and two End Mod commons, or one common, one PS end mod, and the PS +End.

I slotted stamina and health actually better in my revised build. I know how good the PP+ is and kept it accordingly. I think the build I posted will be solid, both tanking/survivability wise as well as damage(for a tank) and be able to sustain both end wise.
I would request notes as they would be appreciated.
Stamina is better slotted in new build, but there are a number of other things I'd recommend changing.
For instance, all the tanker T1 attacks are worth using now because of Bruising, so I'd give Shadow Punch 4 slots--5 preferably.
Wet Ice and Chilling Embrace don't need two slots for end reduction. Drop it down to one and use those slots elsewhere.
I'd slot either Icicles or Soul Drain with 3 Eradication plus another couple of slots for end reduction--that's a more efficient way to get E/NE than the 6 slots in Gloom. You should be able to soft-cap S/L/E/NE without using Energy Absorption, but to do that you're going to have to use your slots more efficiently.
EA needs recharge and end mod as well as defense. I recommend slotting it with 3 defense slots and 3 end mod slots, heavy on the recharge.
The recharge slot in Hibernate isn't doing anything for you; Hibernate has an enforced cooldown period that overrides recharge slotting. Use a Heal or End Mod enhancement instead.
Here's the sort of thing I'd recommend. Defense to S/L/E/NE is soft-capped without EA at the sacrifice of a little F/C defense, which IMO is a worthwhile tradeoff. I also moved Permafrost to 49 so you could get Tough and Weave in earlier. Another option (though you'll have to free up 3 slots to do it) is to drop Permafrost entirely, put the Steadfast +Def in Hoarfrost, and pick up Hasten.

Another thing to ponder on... dropping Taunt. Ice Armor doesn't NEED it, per say. 1 endredux and 1 taunt IO in CE will hold most aggro (Shielders should be the only thing pulling aggro off you). On my Icer, Taunt is for pulling ranged mobs in closer instead of holding aggro. So you could drop Taunt, put some spare slots in EA and pick up Hasten. EA does have a taunt component to it, and slotting it for some endmod will also make you a sapper, draining mobs after the second application and keeping them that way.
This build is a bit more expensive but with coupled with your spiritual alpha, hasten is near perma, soul drain is near perma, hoarfrost is stackable, EA you can perma double stack with some trinkling into 3 stacked, and siphon life is giving damn near 400hp every 3-4 seconds. Also, I'm pretty sure you can run smite>MG>smite>SL as your attack chain - tossing in shadow punch every other chain for bruising.

Thanks for the notes. I've debating on slotting up the first attack, and totally forgot about bruising, was thinking about damage (scrapperlock) and attack chains. I'm gonna try and get both, but might just switch as I plan on using gloom a lot as I love it on my brute.
I didn't know recharge didn't help hibernate, it shows it does in mids but must be an error. So your saying its like OwtS and such right?
I'm not gonna take hasten on this guy for a couple reasons. One is that the other 3 toons im playing atm all have hasten. The other is I don't want my hands on fire on an ice tank for theme reasons. I have fire mastery now though but thats until I make it redside for the PPPs. I think I can get close to double EA w/o hasten, but maybe not. I think with darkest night one EA with a half double will probably be enough to keep me alive.
I'll revise it tonight and repost with the inputs.

You can save yourself 2 slots by slotting 4 Reactive Armors in Tough instead of the Aegis. I know you want the fire/cold defense but honestly pure fire attacks are rare and pure ice attacks will be 90% resisted, anyway. After that, all the other fire attacks have another attack type attached to them, which you have defense against.
Four slot Tough and take the 6th slot out of Gloom and put them into EA. You'll still be at 45% to s/l/e/n without EA on. The slotting I've been using with mine I think gives the best bang for your buck and you've got other HOs in the build, why not toss some membranes into the mix, too?

Here is round 4.
Dropped a slot from gloom and tough, 4 slotted tough with reactives. I tried slotting more into EA, but the difference was pretty slight. Its at perma double now. The reactive armors cap me without EA which is a nice side effect also. Changed shadow punch to 5 CI for the recharge bonus. Two slotted hibernate just for the regen bonus (was at 292 and wanted 300, hit 304). I tried the membrane instead of the perf shifter end/recharge, and the difference here isn't worth the 200-400 mill in this instance for me.

My build is below. I was going for trial capped s/l/e/n defense. It seems from just a little bit of content running that my endurance sucks. Its more than fine when fighting big group after big group, but when fighting one-two mobs (avs and such) I run out of end quickly. I'm trying to keep build relatively cheap (no purps/pvps). Please give me notes. Also, is slotting for 59% def overkill or does it help in new trials, and probably trials to come. Going to go spiritual for alpha, although I'm considering cardiac now, although that will slow my recharge down quite a bit, and hoarfrost would be more than 4 sec outside of perma. Also I do'nt wan't hasten for theme reasons.
