I believe it's running at 100 billion inf.
My pet peeve is people who refuse to acknowledge it when I tell them my character has unlimited power. If I rp attack them they are of course disintegrated beyond the ability of any hospital or magic to restore. Yet despite this they refuse to delete their characters and still keep playing them as if nothing happened. ~Mandu, 07-16-2010

Lots and lots of "Tippy Tips" as I like to call em. You're probably looking at a fair while before you get it though as they cost 25 alignment merits each which is well steep.
You can get maybe, 3 or 4 merits a week. so you're probably looking at 8 weeks of game play... BUT... at least you'll save a few hundred million in rip off prices on the AH, or alternatively, jump into some PvP.
Im getting all my recipes the hard way now, reward merits, hero merits, it gonna be a long slog, but, it'll be worth it to save my money.
Sadly, I am not using the IO/Recipe for the intended purpose of PvP. And the going rate on forums has been 2.5 Bill.
I am using it for the set bonus of 3% defense for a Super Reflex. I have her IO'd already for everything but that last Gladiator's.
Putting her Defense @ 54% Ranged, 51% Melee, 49.7% AOE, and 15-20% on the rest on defense side. (Mids Build) (with 15% resist on most of the resist side)

I think @Mr. Liberty had one for sale at 2.5 billion which is fairly cheap, not sure if he still has it. Feel free to contact me in game @Masque if you still needing one, but I would be selling at closer to 3billion.

Save your inf. Unless you can afford a couple of billion to get it at a "knockdown" price
Is there any reason you're aiming for approx. 50%? 45% is "standard" softcap.

Remember that SR is positional Def so all you want to look at is range/melee/aoe. You are already soft capped to all, so honestly, my advice would be to not focus on getting another 3% which will do literally nothing (for most of your game play) and work on getting rebirth or something from Destiny. If you really feel like you want to overcap (is that a word?!) for fighting +4s and things you can always just pick up barrier or carry 1 luck with you.
