Hello, I know some folks won't want to respond with a build, that ok but would some of you post some spine/wp builds that are survivable? I don't have mids or I'd post mine so you guys could do a full autopsy, also since I lack mids could you post them long form instead of just a data chunk. I'm more than willing to spend inf on this build but I'd rather not use the 3 big PVP shinies please. Thanks in advance.

I'd forgot the +3% Resist PvP IO, but the +3% Defense IO and the -Resist Proc would only be worthwhile!

Here's my DB/WP build. It's of course a bit off, but should help give you an idea of what to try for in a Spines/WP...

I'd only 4 slot Lunge with the Kinetic Combats...as it's really a terrible attack to be using!

Isn't Spines pretty hard up for single-target attacks? I usually find myself using Lunge a lot.

Yup.

So far on my Spines/ELA, it's looking to be doing okay once I get it all IOed out. 2 Damage auras, the ability to chain the previously mentioned Spines only chain...tough single targets shouldn't be any more of a problem than my DB/WP and the Spines will have better AOE.

Ive got 3 chance for damages in my Quills and each one has a chance for firing off everytime a quill comes out and hits.

Each pulse of a quil has 3 different chances for damage. Ive had it do 120 damage to enemies .

Throw Spines with a chance for Knockdown is really nice to have.

Any chance you happen to know one that includes blaze mastery? I'm having trouble deciding what to drop on sp/da/blaze while keeping fireball in, which is the current plan. My guess is swapping impale for the blast, but impale is so much fun despite the slow pitch/long activation.

In a toggle, it checks once every 10 seconds, not per pulse of quills.

Not off hand, as Mids numbers are a bit off...my guess would be to just go with...

Impale > Ripper > Throw Spines > Fire Blast > Repeat which my guess would likely be around maybe even a bit better DPS.

Maybe replacing Throw Spines with Fire Blast, as FB might have better DPS (I'll have to go back and check).

But the 4 attack chain would require less +RCH.

As to what to drop for all this, I'd have to see your current build to give a really good idea of what to drop where to move slots....ect...ect

Interesting. I'm getting close to a build that I'll dig up one of the spines/dark threads for posting. For now I'll return everyone to their regularly scheduled /wp discussion.

Mids does seem to show around twice the dmg for /blaze as in game (at least on scrappers), which makes looking it at wacky.
