Classic Team Up

I am seeking others interested in doing a Static team on Sundays, starting this coming Sunday, 5/1/2011. The team would be light RP, and generally friendly toward all players who wanted to come. We would be meeting in Praetoria beside Marauder at 1200 EST (Noon).
I will be utilizing the SG I run later for us to have Heroside TP and Medical facilities.

I'll think about this. Can't really get a better timeslot than that for me, but was hoping my next static team would be redside. Still, always good fun to be had.

Will be bringing a corruptor or defender, maybe a stalker. Name/Powersets yet to be determined.

Edit: Or maybe the Dominator I've been wanting to make. Maybe the only AT I haven't played for any amount of time other than EAT's. This is why I hate static teams*. Too many ideas for characters before you even show up.

*Yet this will be my third at this time.

I am sorely tempted by this since static teams seem to be my best bet for quickly leveling new ATs. I'm hesitant about committing to a third static team, but Sunday at noon is pretty much an unbeatable time for me (at least until football season starts, if it starts, at which point I'd be out any week my team plays at 1 PM).

elvnsword, can you tell me/us a little more about the idea behind, or theme of, the team? Since we're starting in Praetoria, is it assumed everyone is a Praetorian? If so, would you prefer mostly loyalists or resist...ors(?) You mentioned going blue side - other than the obvious need to go blue at lvl 20, what would be the justification for going to Primal Earth?

If these questions too indepth for the "light RP" style you had in mind, just let me know.

I have three characters I could potentially roll with - a tank, a stalker, or a corruptor -depending on your answers.

Well, Onyx is envisioned as a magic stone construct awakened in merry ol england after the fall of mankind, and has travelled the earth searching for humans to protect, only to find them all cowering behind a single tyrant, er... King... so mostly more resistancy... His views being created by seeing things from outside the sonic walls and being forced into working for Cole, or even possibly being seen as a Devouring Earth spy at first.

I would be open to moving this whole thing to Redside if everyone else is as well. The character is easilly rerolled there and I can always rewrite the story a bit Starflier.
What say you Mousedroid?

Going redside is fine with me, but as members of, or sympathizers to, the Resistance, what is our redside motivation? Recruit for the fight against Cole? Take down Lord Recluse? Introduce a comprehensive recycling program to the Rogue Islands?

I have access to a fully loaded VG base - everyone who started it has left the game and one of my characters is now in charge. The only problem is, it has a really dumb name. Still, we could use it until we create our own VG.

Edited to remove dumb statement about Prestige accumulation, and to add that I have decided on my character. S/He will be a Corruptor/Dominator. Hope that's specific enough.

I will be bringing a stalker, Arcananaut (KM/Energy). He`s a loyalist. A ruthless scientist obsessed with magic, and can go either redside or blueside.

I mostly mentioned redside because I have yet to get a character very involved in redside, and don`t know about much past Sharkhead. That said, I`m fine with blueside as well if that`s what you guys want. Like I said, the character is suited well to the grey area in between good and evil.

OK, either is fine with me, just let me know where I need to be Sunday at noon - Nova Praetoria or Mercy Island.

Like Arcananaut, Thermo-couple is also a scientist, and is committed to neither Cole's regime, nor the Resistance's cause.

Had a decent turn out of four players for our first Sunday Night Excursion and made it to sixth level in a night. Friendships were made, a bit of intrigue perhaps.
I will be updated the roster shortly.

We could definitely use some support on the team, but other than that I thought it went pretty well. Hopefully we can add a few more people to the team, but I am trying to level an Ice/Cold corruptor to keep up with Arcananaut in case we need the support.

I been thinking about this group and if Starflier and Mousedroid don't mind teaming with me 3 times a week, I would join you. I've been wanting to level up a Dark/ fender or /Dark corruptor for awhile. That could fill the some the support needs you have.

Thermocouple can also supply some support if we need it. Not only is he an ice/ice dominator, she's also a fire/thermal corruptor.

Ah, I thought she was a fire/fire dom. I guess we do have some support half the time.

My other problem with La Tramontagna (Yes, he is the evil praetorian version of my main) is that he's level 9, so would you rather I join now and exemp down a couple levels, or just wait for you lot to catch up?

(I suppose I could also turn off xp)

ETA: Although the fact that I intend, eventually, to redside him up does work against him.

A Fire/Dark Corruptor
or A Dark/Psi Defender ?

I'd be more than willing to do this as well. I'm really, really rusty though (as in, haven't played the game since Villains was in Beta), so I'm trying to find a way to get back into things. I haven't done any of the red-side content at all, yet.

I mostly play Defenders and Controllers, almost always built for as much support as possible. Most of my characters are still low level, so I don't mind remaking something that would be needed.

Anywho, give me a holler if you like and let me know what I should make. I've got a ridiculous number of concepts in my head, so I'm sure I could fit in with whatever.
