Also, we get one or two weeks about this time every year. Then it goes right down hill and we have a sucky summer.
So, no. I'd prefer some nice weather in the summer, when the reservoirs are full and they're expecting good weather, and the farmers aren't expecting it to rain so the crops will grow.
People have such short memories.

I yearn for the times when we had 4 seasons here... now it seems to go from stupidly cold (for my neck o'the woods) to stupidly hot, without so much as a wink to mid range weather.

Kinda glad you can't find these animals anywhere else in the world I spared the scorpions, venomous snakes, deadly spiders (no I don't mean arachnos) and other potentially life ending critters found down under a thought. Wasn't a flattering one at that.

Wow! Thanks Roo, I am now fully educated. Wonder if they'd make good pets.
Also, I am now terrified of the feral pigs the article mentions.
