Salvage Window, tab order

When I click on my Salvage window, I start on the 'All' Tab. To the right of that is Base, Component, Event, Incarnate, Invention, Special. (I think that's all of them).

My problem is, the number of tabs makes me have to click on several tabs so I can get to the far right to get to the salvage that is most commonly used (Invention, Incarnate, Special). In fact, I haven't used the Base and Component Salvage tabs in a long time now, and I only use Event tab rarely.

Could we have the ability to move those tabs around and/or hide some of them?

Also, could we include Empyrean and Astral merits on the Incarnate tab, along with Shards? Thanks...

Those non-useful Tabs have been peeving me too. I second the motion!

Yeah, this has been coming up quite a bit lately. I'll support anything that makes it easier although my personal suggestion would be to merge some of the tabs.

Make all "Event" salvage "Special" and all "Component" salvage "Base". In one swoop that reduces the number of tabs from 7 to 5 without causing any major problems. There are only 5 items of "Event" salvage and 10 types of "Special" salvage (ignoring the unique ones from the Lost Cure arc) so even if a single character has all 15 types (a rare event) the tab isn't becoming unmanageably large. Admittedly adding Component salvage to the Base tab does result in a lot of potential types on that tab, but not that many people actually have Base salvage anymore and those that do don't have to frequently sort through it anyway so I don't see this as a problem. Actually I'd like to see all Base and Component salvage moved to special as well to make the tab count 4 but I can see this upsetting some people.

Other alternative options:
1. Let us reorder the tabs and have the order maintain itself when logging out.
2. Hide tabs that contain no salvage (which gets rid of Base, Component and Event tabs for most people).

I'd rather see the tabs made sortable, like the chat tabs. Failing that, putting them in order of usefulness (Invention, Special, Incarnate, Event, Base or something similar) seems like the best idea to me.

Unfortunately the usefullness of each tab would be different for different people.

I would have Special at my front.

Enjoy your day please.

Or, alternately, only have the tabs show up if you have stuff in them. Just created a character? You don't have any tabs visible - the empty pane could say something tutorial-like, like "Salvage drops from enemies and for doing certain activities within the game." That pane would disappear when you got your first salvage piece, making whatever tab that first salvage piece belongs to appear instead. As you get more different types of salvage, those tabs would start opening up. And as you got rid of those salvage types, the tabs would disappear again.

Don't have any base salvage? That tab doesn't show! Don't have any components? Well, that's gone, too! Etc. etc.

The fact that Salvage tabs look exactly like Chat tabs always makes me think that they should be draggable, and they're not. I fully accept that they should be.

In fact, I've almost never had anything in my Incarnate tab, but when that was introduced, it shunted my Inventions tab off the Salvage window with the size I have it set up. Now every time I want to see just my Salvage (and not my Reward Merits, Halloween Salvage and so on), I have to either use the little arrows or aim for the two-millimetre corner of the Salvage tab that's showing.

For the sake of convenience, I'd like to see the ability to rearrange those, or at the very least have the ability to make the game remember what tab I was at last and preserve that across log-outs.
