I want to create tougher more dynamic enemies

I looked briefly for a suggestions forum but did not find it so I'll post this here.

I'd like to see a removal of the two powerset limit we currently have on AE creations I want to be able to create far more interesting(sadistic) AVs who can really give teams a challenge by being free to pick and choose their powers from all available sets up to the current maximum powers limit.

For example take from Invul and/or Shields and/or Will Power etc as you see fit, combine with MM pets as you see fit, with all buffs and debuffs that you see fit, and add any melee and/or ranged attacks that you well you know... within whatever is the current maximum amount of powers a custom critter can have or hell expand that limit if feasible.

I know I want to make an AV or Hero that would cause whole team to curse in frustration Footstomp + Dragontail + that Seismic power? Yes please! Ability to choose attack order and have our creations get ranked by things like survivability, AOE dps, ST dps and be recognized for being a tough SOB by the community? Yes please!

What do you AE creators think?

I won't disagree with you, I'd love more options for custom AE minions, sometimes not even to make the AVs tougher but keep the minions more balanced.
But i'm not sure it'll be easy to happen, it would require an expansion of the data used per-custom critter, I believe, which is already quite a bit.

We don't need any more options to have egomaniacs make superubergod versions of themselves. You'll just have settle for the current options of ubergod versions that still wet their beds.

/unsigned.

People have trouble making balanced enemies with *two* powersets. Giving them no limits? Ugh. "Here's my shield/willpower illusion controller mastermind with radiation!"

Just... no.

and this right here should just scream out "This is a bad idea." You're not "out to get" the players, unless you're also out to get few plays and a low rating. Work instead on making an enjoyable arc that makes people want to play it. That doesn't mean it can't have tough enemies, but "I want to make this impossible!" is not exactly a noble goal.

If I can create custom mobs that can look like this:

...then /signed.

I'd love to have the ability to use more than two powersets on a character, specifically because some secondaries offer no protection. For example, I wanted to make a sort of natural-themed merc that utilizes tools and weapons. So I had a problem. I could go weaponset/defense, but then that's just one weapon he uses, which doesn't do justice to his concept. I could go weaponset/devices, but then he has no protection. Could also go devices/defense, but then how does he do damage?

People can already make powerful broken enemies. Doubt this'd change things much.

I know what you mean, but personally, I still would like to see us get access to more than just two powersets, and for pool powers, APPs/PPPs, and epic powersets* to be opened up, but not just for custom bosses and AVs, but all critters.

As pointed out Bill, sometimes it's not about trying to powergame them, but sometimes to do justice to a concept, for my own case, it's actually because I think more than two powersets would allow for greater balance as well. for example, I might be able to have my level 25 Lt. that just uses a machine with an underslung 'nade launcher to do just those things and not need to dip into them having annoying mezzes or cheating with caltrops to get the 100% EXP.

*Oh, and proper stalker sets which have AS, placate, and hide in the case of the armors, devices that has the cloaking device, and traps set.

Not impossible but tough enough that some actually tactical thinking is necessary sort of like Romulous 2.0. The kind of AVs that will beat the team on the first try rather than be rolled over immediately and forgotten.

I want to be able to make proper mobs. Y'know, ones with Brawl, some armour and a mix of ranged/melee attacks.

I'd like to make MM AVs that aren't pitifully easy because the pets die in seconds, they have no armour and no decent personal attacks (and STILL don't have god damn traps! )

I'd like to make AVs that can use a ranged weapon AND martial arts moves, without having to sacrifice their entire defense and resistance option. Malestrom can do it, why can't we?

This!
The idea mainly came from my frustrations in making credible, theme appropriate MM AVs(I gave up) the task simply proved to be above what's avaiables under the current setup but the kind of freedom we would get if the powerset count we could pull from was unlimited would allow for some very interesting combat options.
