Didn't they upgrade the servers last year? I'd be more inclined to think it related to the most recent issue release....

Back up at 3:47 pm, but this kind of intermittent server crash, and constant mapserve disconnects of clients, should not be happening at all.

It's doubtful these issues are related to the hardware being too slow, but, more likely than not, the massive amount of code changes that just went live... aka Issue 20.
Every issue brings a period of instability to the game, which is fixed over time, then people forget about it, then the next issue happens, and people will freak out, thinking it's a sign of the end times.

It's time for Paragon Studios to admit the current server hardware is NOT good enough, and actually upgrade the damn server racks.
Pentiums just won't cut it anymore.
