A pre-nup is just smart planning. Should I ever be forced into the...joy...of marriage, I fully intend on having one. If marriage is a contract, then there's nothing wrong with having it in writing.

So this is what we're left with as decent villains on this show? i miss Roark and Shaw.
But Volkov (at least Alexei) is fun. He's pretty much a deconstruction of the classic Bond-type villain. He's also got class. Less of the "pew-pew" and more of the "let's have a nice breakfast and then we'll swap out your blood for acid and put you in the shark tank" type of villain.
I liked Vivian better when she was struggling with her evilness. Was the whole spiel about how she was working to keep her company legit just a rouse to free her papa and get the weapon, then?
I do like Alexei, though.... His lust for power mixed with his super-strong family sentiment really makes an interesting character. It's almost like he's a recovering addict, now.
Councilor: "Hello everyone and welcome to Villains Anonymous. Oh, I see we have a new guest. Why don't you stand up and introduce yourself to the group?"
Alexei: "My name is Alexei Volkov and I'm a villain."
*unenthusiastic groans* "Hi Alexei..."
