KM/SR Build needs more AoE Defense
Changed some things around to allow for higher recovery to offset the cost of adding Weave to the mix. Unless you are planning on adding the Glad Armor +3% IO then that seems to be the easiest to get you to the cap on all three positionals. You lose Static Discharge, so you may not like that. You could easily swap out Repulsing Torrent for Weave and keep in Static Discharge. I increased overall recharge and regen as well, although you lost a slight amount of +HP. At least it's something to think about.

With SR I learned it's best to get as much Def from power picks as you can to softcap with. This leaves your set bonuses all available for other things, which is part of the beauty of SR as opposed to other sets. You can go the set bonus route for your Defense, but that's a very suboptimal approach. You get a much better deal leveraging SR's native Defense. Plus, Touch of Death has like 40% Accuracy. That's pretty pathetic. Doubly so if slotted in Kinetic which lacks in the ToHit department (even though Kinetic is my favorite melee set).

Hey all,
My most recent project is a KM/SR/Mu Brute that I'm really liking so far. However, as I plan out his build, with the powers that I want, I'm looking at being over the softcap for Melee and Range by a little bit, but I'm at only about 40% AoE Defense. Looking over the build, can you see how I might be able to get a bit more AoE Defense?
