What power was this?

Last night I'm teaming with a scrapper on tip missions. If I remember correctly, which I might not, he was a BS/SD.

After each group was dead, he would use a power that put a jagged circle on the ground, in gray, and then it would pull into him, then he'd run to the next one. I assume he was pulling health or endurance out of the dead bodies.

I've looked at the epic pools for heroes and villains, and thought maybe he was DA instead of SD, Even DM...but there's nothing that fits that.

What was that?

I have yet to see them but I bet that is one of the new Incarnate abilities.

It sounds like you're talking about Stygian Circle, the Warshade ability that heals you a bit for every dead enemy around.

None of the incarnate abilities do anything like you're mentioning.

The Judgement slot is an aoe attack, the Lore slot is pets, the Interface slot adds a proc to your abilities, and the Destiny slot is a group AoE buff.

Edit:

None of the Darkness Mastery or Soul Mastery abilities for Scrappers have anything like that. Dark Melee has Dark Consumption and Soul Drain, both of which require living enemies. Dark Armor has Dark Regeneration and Soul Transfer, both of which also require living enemies. Soul Transfer also requires you be dead, so that's not it.

Hmmm.... there are a number of Dark/Soul styled powers that have a similar "pulling in the circle" animation but the only one I can think of that works on dead enemies is Stygian Circle and that's a Warshade power so it clearly wasn't that.

The only option I can see is that he had a different Dark Power (such as Dark Consumption) and had mis-read the power discription and was thinking that it worked on dead enemies instead of living ones.

EDIT: I guess it could have been one of the Destiny powers (specifically Rebirth) and he was simply pre-buffing with it but those are on a 2 minute timer, not every spawn.

This is my thought as well.

Yeah, I'd think he was misplaying it. He really rocked though.

He wasn't a warshade.

Heals you a lot and gives you a substantial +End boost too
